Determined to keep up our week of ‘Health & Wellbeing’ our residents took on the challenge to make delicious, healthy home-cooked pizzas to honour National Pizza Day.
Carolyn and Debra from our Independent Supported Living project in Chapel House went for pepperoni and prawn pizza – very posh ladies. While residents at St Catherine’s, our Nursing Home in Newcastle created a pepperoni delight. “ I didn’t realise there was such I think as National Pizza Day,” said Selma “ but as there is, it would be rude not to join in the celebration.”
Pepperoni was a firm favourite with our residents and there wasn’t a pineapple insight.
