On the first warm, sunny day for some time, some of our St Catherine’s nursing home residents couldn’t wait to get outside to enjoy one of the home’s gardens with their Wellbeing Co-ordinator, Zaeley.
Just before lunch, the group made the most of the fresh, spring air and were delighted to smell the newly cut grass and hear the birdsong.
“The sun is lovely and warm,” said Bill. “Spring is such a wonderful time of year.”
After lunch, the group gathered in the comfortable garden room to relax and listen to some classical music.
Everyone has their fingers crossed that this blissful spring day is going to be the first of many.
